Our Mission

Our Common Unity offers free comprehensive life improvement skills and emotional intelligence through mentoring and educational opportunities necessary to help our youth navigate unique life issues and current events in a healthier way. Here at Our Common Unity 501(c)(3), we know that sometimes all it takes to transform lives is support. We are committed to make a meaningful impact. The core of our efforts is to support and educate children to become confident, emotionally strong, and loving human beings to make positive shifts within themselves, their communities and the world. Providing tools for each person to become responsible empowers respect for ourselves and others. Turning the “impossible” into I’m Possible!

Our Common Unity provides a plethora of free courses in cyber security, conflict resolution, youth safety, empowerment focused life skills (i.e. health, nutrition, cooking, gardening, financial literacy and efficient housekeeping), emotional intelligence, transformational support, creative activities (i.e. arts, acting, dancing, storytelling and music), entertainment technology, and reconnecting the generations in our after-school programs provided for the “under-resourced communities” throughout the United States. We focus on people over profits with unconditional love for all, caring for the least of us!

Under-Resourced Youths and Guardians
Young Parents in the Welfare System
Youths Currently in or Transitioning out of Foster-Care
At-Risk Youths
